China Year Showcases AIGC-Powered Cultural IP Achievements at CIFTIS 2025

Sep 19, 2025

The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) recently opened grandly in Beijing. As a leading cultural technology enterprise in the field of digital technology and digital content integration, China Year presented a portfolio of blockbuster animated works, self-developed derivatives, and cutting-edge technology products, highlighting a range of innovative applications in Generative Artificial Intelligence (AIGC). The company became a major highlight of the exhibition.

The showcase featured multiple well-known IPs including Great Journey of TeenagersCrimson SkiesThirty-six Cavalry, Law of DevilThe Land of Miracles, and Over the Divine Realms, fully demonstrating China Year’s outstanding expertise and innovation in narrative depth, aesthetic systems, and industrialized production. Among them, the core IP Great Journey of Teenagers stood out as a flagship of the company’s pan-entertainment strategy. Over the years, China Year has continuously expanded this IP’s value chain—from live-action series, animated feature films, and comic publications, to stage productions, immersive exhibitions, cultural derivatives, and virtual digital personas—forming a multi-dimensional content matrix. Meanwhile, the company has actively collaborated with music festivals, games, beverage brands, and other industries to explore cross-sector extensions and ecosystem operations, unleashing the cultural influence and commercial potential of its IPs.

At the exhibition, China Year also launched interactive digital human versions of two popular characters from Great Journey of Teenagers—“Sikong Qianluo” and “Li Hanyi.” Powered by real-time voice interaction technology, these characters not only responded intelligently to audience questions but also displayed natural expressions and gestures such as blinking and waving. Their vivid, lifelike performances created the impression of stepping out from the anime world, drawing large crowds of visitors to interact.

In addition, China Year integrated its smart interactive toy “MeowMeow Box” with digital human technology, creating immersive experiences across multiple devices and scenarios. This innovation allowed virtual characters to engage naturally with users. These product demonstrations not only highlighted the company’s comprehensive capabilities in AIGC integration but also reflected its forward-looking exploration of cross-boundary applications and user experience innovation, revealing vast potential for future scenarios such as virtual idols, digital guides, and immersive entertainment.

Another highlight was China Year’s “Annual Ring AI Short Drama Platform,” designed to resolve the contradiction between the fast-growing demand for high-quality, low-cost, rapid-turnaround video content and the high barriers of traditional film and television production. Built on AIGC, the platform integrates core modules such as video generation, task distribution, and a creator community. It provides innovative content solutions for IP owners and brand clients, while offering creators an end-to-end path from inspiration to commercial monetization. At the exhibition, visitors could experience AI-generated storyboards, characters, and scenes, completing a short drama within minutes and witnessing firsthand the arrival of a new era where “everyone can be a creator.”

Since its establishment, China Year has adhered to a “Technology + Culture” dual-core development philosophy, driving the intelligent and digital transformation of content production. The company has built a comprehensive technology ecosystem that includes proprietary large models, a core digital asset library, and an AI tool matrix, holding industry-leading advantages in 3D animation industrialization and AIGC innovation. At the same time, China Year has forged deep collaborations with top institutions such as Huawei, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, ByteDance, and Global Trust, pooling frontier resources and expertise to build an open, collaborative, and efficient innovation ecosystem.

Looking ahead, China Year will continue to strengthen independent R&D of core AIGC technologies, expand applications across diverse fields such as film, education, and entertainment, and actively advance international cooperation—empowering outstanding Chinese cultural IPs to achieve broader global reach and deeper cultural resonance.
