Recently, the Fourth Micro-Video Contest on Global Green Development Stories officially launched its global call for entries. People from all walks of life around the world are invited to capture green moments, tell green stories, and envision a green future through their lenses. This initiative aims to further convey the concept of green development, share the achievements of joint construction, build international consensus, and inject vivid momentum into the construction of a Green Silk Road.

Deep Cultivation Over Three Editions: Continuous Expansion of the Contest's Influence and Forging Global Green Consensus

To promote ecological civilization, enhance international communication for the Belt and Road Initiative, and foster mutual learning and people-to-people bonds, the Belt and Road Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Center (Shenzhen) has consecutively hosted three editions of the Micro-Video Contest on Global Green Development Stories since 2022. Closely following the principle of "extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits," the contest adopts a global perspective and focuses on a green mission. It aims to build an international exchange platform for green development, convey the concept of green development, and share various countries' practical green experiences through vivid visual media, thereby driving deep and solid green cooperation along the "Belt and Road."

Participants include government officials, corporate elites, university students and faculty, as well as frontline contributors and witnesses deeply involved in the development of partner countries. It also accepts all other submissions that align with green and environmental protection themes, balancing professionalism with universal participation.

A representative of the contest stated that this event will provide participants with opportunities for global exposure, industry resource matchmaking, and copyright monetization. Outstanding works will not only receive honors and awards but will also help their associated technologies and products reach broader international markets. It is hoped that through this contest, global environmental protection forces can be further united, allowing more green stories to cross mountains and seas to spread consensus.
